Is anyone as excited for this as I am? :tongue2

Not sure if a thread was already started but i didn't see it.

PS. Can anyone help me in answering my question of wondering what the dress code is like for Santos? I've never been.

See you there!

I never even heard about this event, who's throwing it?

Santos doesn't really have a dress code.

It exists, that's for sure. I certainly wish the promoter for this show had actually ADVERTISED for it; I can't go because this is such short notice.

Actually kinda ticked off. People complain about the "real" trance shows not getting any attendees, yet when one comes around the promoter doesn't even post it on Tranceaddict. DERP.

I've gone to Santos in a T-Shirt, shorts and sneakers before. Awesome venue, and totally relaxed. It really is one of the best party spots in the city.

Hmm, Ive never even heard of this promoter.

Under the wanttickets description it says "Commercial House Music with a high energy crowd."

Doesn't sound very appealing.

I take this comment back, it says dress to impress.

Marcus Schossow is not trance. unless trance is what you call 130-132 with house elements and crapy lead stabs. then yeah its that trance.

Anyways i saw him at Webster hall last time he came. great energy but slow BPM and no journey. i rate him as a dj at 4/10, will not see again.

I haven't listened to any of his newer material. He was definitely producing trance a few years ago. Did he take a turn for the worst like every other decent trance producer?

like what?.. i might have missed something but to me he sounds like progressive trouse. lol

http://www.discogs.com/artist/Marcus+Sch%C3%B6ssow shows what i believe are his songs... wich one of those is trance?

he throws in a bit of trance, but it's mostly a mix of swedish (not SHM sounding) house, some dutch stuff, lots of housey vocal tracks, and a lot of techy stuff. his sets are pretty good, just not what they used to sound like. just listen to an episode of his radioshow if you want to hear a sample of what he will play.

Opps Sorry Euphoria! will know for next time :)

And I'm actually extremely excited about this. The last time i saw him was At Webster as well, and i guess the guy above didnt have as good of a time but i had an AMAZING experience. I actually was going through the videos i took from that night on my facebook and i'm glad he's back around. The best part is even my husband is excited about this. Santos is his favorite spot. The last time we went out together was for Markus at pacha and he told me he didn't wanna see anymore sets cause he enjoys it more in his car :( :eyespop: SO glad he was joking. lol

and aww man! it says dress to impress? i really just wanted to hang out in jeans and a T for once
