I don't think of The God Delusion to be a so militant atheistic book. I think, it is a contemporary atheistic issue, that gives an up-to date understanding of Atheism.

if you fast forward the speed of 'millions of years' of observation in one second, the simulation of evolution would jump from algae into human form in a second. so its all a matter of how you look at the information and the possbilities which are of the unlimited in the unlimited nature of the universe and god. creationism, science and evolution all holding hands towards coherent truth.
ps. the belief in nothing is better than all of those though !!
