It's not just this thread, but they don't post in any other thread. It's also not limited to the
events forum but other dumb like "hey come book my ty hotel package *never posts on TA again"
I also don't see Bas on ever, but maybe he does check around regularly? |

I'm sure he does. As a friend of his... i know he's really busy and probably has little time for a lot of things. I say cut him some slack. He'll come back around. |

Well would another mod actually make a difference? Swamper has said he doesn't want to impose restrictions on which accounts can post events so it's not like a new mod would be able to do much unless Swamper changed his mind. I'm sure there is some utility in the event subforum for lurkers/noobs who might actually be interested in the types of events these spammers promote, and Swamper obviously wants to keep that around b/c it's traffic for his website.
Maybe we should just be using our /ignore buttons more?
Either way i'm totally fine with Dave T or Woody as new mods. I'd be fine with most of the regulars here. |
