| I used to be a Lakers fan. I used to like basketball. After that whole fiasco at the beginning of this season I decided to never watch such a stupid sport again. They couldn't even get their together to start on time...made me realize that it has nothing to do with basketball or "love of the game" as all of their commercials purport. Money is the only thing that matters. If they cared so much about their fans, they would've given them something to cheer for. |

i can respect that. but honestly, in my opinion, the best player in the game right now is Lebron. Kobe in my opinion is the best closer in the game, even if the stats don't necessarily prove he is the best closer, he still is the best one to get his shot off in the waning moments. |

The lakers dont look good at all. Their bench is aweful, and their big men look defeated. The nuggets are going to double team the big men all day long so long as hill, blake, sessions, and ebanks continue to miss wide open jump shots. Meanwhile, Baby bynum and gasol show no ability or willingness to cope with the two man front. Hopefully metta world peace gets in there on saturday and knocks out george karl, because he is overwhelmingly outcoaching mike brown.

Amen! I boycotted this season, haven't watched one game this year. It actually feels pretty good not supporting a mega sport full of "broke" dudes. College basketball will be it from now on. And yes Kobe can suck it, although it looks like Billy already got his treatment! |
