Bro they're like covered in padding from head to toe. Bunch of pussies imo. Soccer players are tough as nails. When someone accidentally bumps into them from the side and they writhe around in pain on the ground for 10 minutes, that's heart.

You mean like this?

American football is . Talk about a sport. It's boring to watch on TV and its even more boring to watch while you're at the stadium. Action for 10-20 seconds, then you spend 5 minutes waiting for the retards to set up again.

At least in soccer/rugby there's always something going on for the most part and there's no excessive padding that would stop even the heaviest of flow.

I know, right... these guys are so boring and such pussies

Extra padding?

These guys are wearing some of the best technology on their heads and this is still happening:

RIP, son.

I would love for some of you fags to come try out some mixed martial arts fighting.

Too soft?

How about Kumate? No pads and kicks to the head are perfectly legal.

Even that's too soft?

How about a good old school yard brawl, you don't stop until someone is on the ground.

Even that's too soft?

How about a fight in a Roman Colosseum where you battle against a lion?

5 Seconds of entertainment... and it only took decades worth of football to get that kind of footage.

First off, you misquoted me.

Secondly, we were discussing football and soccer, not Asian marital arts or 264 BC battles between gladiators and beasts.

Look into the science of it, it's pretty interesting.

Maybe this will be more to your liking:

BTW, that avatar is gay.

Football is, by some considerable distance, the most popular sport in almost every part of the world, in every different culture, from the most affluent to the most impoverished. You can frankly say whatever the you want about our sport, because many hundreds of millions people care about it more than any other ty little game you care to mention.

This is something I always wondered.

Which country owns soccer*? Which country did it come from?

*just to you all

Well, in the context of this thread it appears to have been thrust upon the English, apparently as a stick with which to beat us. And the English FA were the first to formalise a set of rules that turned the time-honoured practise of kicking an object, a ball perhaps, around into some sort of "goal", if you will, into association football as we know it today.

But really, football is the world's game, which is exactly why it's quite clearly the best sport. It's pretty much the only sport played and followed all over the world, which is why it has far more cultural importance and influence than any other sport will ever have. No other game can come close in terms of popularity, history, religious, political and regional rivalries and endless cultural mutations surrounding it.
