Teh Schrodinger Equation....

-[ħ²/2m][δ²Ψ(x,t)/δx²] + U(x)Ψ(x,t) = iħ[δΨ(x,t)/δt]

Try doing that with the Character Map in MSWord. :p

more maths

Oakenfold = PVD²
Exponent
Do not remind me of that equation, when you take Modern Physics at Cal Poly you are learning more greek then physics. Its disgusting.

Heh, listened to some of Oakenfolds sets...from the early days, and I gotta say, this guy can't really mix...

For me it's PVD. Every time I put on a PVD set, I get blown away. Politics of Dancing is absolutely amazing IMO as well. I do agree that most of his productions sound the same but I still think they're awesome.

I do like Oakenfold a lot though. The older stuff like Tranceport is really good.

Different strokes for different folks !!!! :D :D

Let me see, If I am at home at my PC, Oakenfold GU New York, EM Millenium Eve, Gatecrasher 99, Cream Mixes, EM - Space, will either be playing, the journey is different everytime ;)

In the car, to the club PVD Rosenmontages 2002, from start to finish SIMPLY MINDBLOWING !!!!! :whip: (On the way home, GC Wet or Disco Tech CD2)

But I prefer Oakenfold, I like to visit imaginery places :D :D

Cheers

I dunno if u realise this, but music changed, he can't play the tunes from 1999 anymore.
Pvd was very good back then but he doesnt play those tunes anymore either. For me pvd lost it...

first of all for your information ... using the year 1999 , where you pull that out off ? your ass :p

I'm joking

but seriously there was before 1999

what I meant by roots , is REAL MIXING, INTERACTION WITH THE CROWD, ENTERTAINMENT AND TECHNICALITY etc etc etc

he seems to have put a wall between the public and him ... as if he's to good, to do real dj - ing anymore

before 1999?
No way mate, I dunno how long u listen to trance, but the years before were brilliant too, yea on the internet and from what u all read everywhere it seems to be for people, but from what I experienced those days, no way it was , trance was dark and loud, more underground, nowadays its are very normal, u hear trance everywhere, trance lost his magical feeling...

About the interaction with the crowd, I can't say anything about that cuz ive never seen him playing live, but from the sets I listened too the past months Oakey is still a BIG man imo
Its just about personal tastes, no big deal about that, I've learned enough that people have different tastes and it will not change their opinions, so I can understand what u were trying to say, things are a little different for me then for you, but what matters is that we all love trance ....or not?
