i think the history of sexual orientation is pretty ing out there. To think, what i got arrested for was not gay, not illegal and totally .... I'm not a pederast, i'm just a traditionalist. Moving on,
Using such restrictive word to define who you are as a person, well it tends to make people all the same and boring. But i understand why it is that way. I get it that they were persecuted and as a result, in their teens - 35 have to figure out who they are and tend to band together. I get that. I always went to gay bars to get away from douche bags that like to punch guys like me because i'm sexy and i know it. I've been good friends with enough for a long time to see the sort of transition that happens. That sort of discovery , most people are fed as kids but our version is ok so we buy it while the gay guy knows that , well it sounds great, but i would love a right now. So you have 18 years of torment for being who you are, like a jew, it takes time to come to terms.
But ya, eventually, it will just be another preference like, i like apples. you like oranges. You don't need a term for it. But that will be in a long long time.
But gay culture is just as annoying as any other cliche culture. THe bros, the bitches, all those groups where people have these slew of ways to act to fit in. |
