If it goes up and down way too often, that's Chinese. If it sounds flat, Japanese. If it sounds like they're saying "sure" (in Canadian) after every other word, it's probably Mandarin Chinese. If it sounds like Spanish spoken backwards, it's Japanese. zyklon-jay you don't have to. batsu is essentially to penalize someone in japanese. this word does not exist in mandarin or cantonese.
