Pro-Tip: The writing and the pronunciation of both languages are very different. If it goes up and down way too often, that's Chinese. If it sounds flat, Japanese. If it sounds like they're saying "sure" (in Canadian) after every other word, it's probably Mandarin Chinese. If it sounds like Spanish spoken backwards, it's Japanese.
