i think more studies should be done on whether a lot of "diseases" are really a "problem" that needs to be treated.

ADHD for example. was just watching Through the Wormhole where they posit that ADHD may have developed as a way to spur human migration and protect from predators in the wild. of course now with our sedentary and city-protected lifestyle, these evolutionary advantages are not needed and we need to "treat" them to be socially acceptable.

could it be though that rises in certain "unneeded" traits could be in advance of a big climate change or something like that?

From first hand experience, I can tell you for sure that a person could easily self-diagnose, then let their life get out of control and use their "disorder" to justify their laziness and irresponsibility. I don't think this is uncommon at all, and it's only going to get worse.

Sadly, I know someone who is doing exactly this. Only in his case he believes that only herbals are going to cure his ailment, so he stays high on said herbals all day long while doing nothing to better his life.

when society is in disorder, it is moving from a state of order of natural law to a state of chaos ignoring natural law:

has resulted in: people that are seeking for truth, are unique, or experience complex emotions, are mislabeled as having a mental health condition.

the condition of a person is a reaction to the environment, which in this case is society, and its rules and assumptions.

the less natural life is, the more people feel depressed, for emotions are the most important state of mind a human can achieve.
