| NYC back in 99-2000 there were house dealers that roamed the club with impunity dishing out powerful e-pills and other assorted goodies. Sometime around 2003, those dealers disappeared from the big clubs and were replaced by absolutely brutal and corrupt security teams that were just looking for a reason to toss someone out of the club. First time I saw this transition was at Sound Factory 2003 with Jonathan Peters. The security completely ruined the vibe and from then until it closed Sound Factory was never the same. There was a point in time prior to 2003 when Sound Factory was the most prolific party/drug den that I have ever been witness to. It was amazing and appalling all at the same time. |

| Yeah this is nothing. If my memory serves me correct, it was Queen who had "Midgets with silver trays lined up with coke on their heads" on their riders. |

That still happens in Toronto at the Guvernment. One guy who stands in the exact same place every Saturday. Security people don't mess with him, and most of them will even come over and say what's up to him during the night. |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure one of the big clubs here has its drugs run by a group of Triads. These guys are there every week, go in and out as they please, and have been known to sometimes beat the out of people while security only jumps in when the victim is damn-near dead (victims are always asian, too, so I assume rival gang stuff is at play). They're also older than typical club clientele.
Meanwhile, anybody else caught trying to sell anything is prompty kicked out, sometimes aggressively. |

i was seeing Gaiser last saturday , it was a party organized by Amnesia and one of my friends got caught doing meth they dropped the crystals but only where concerned if he was drug dealing, the tolerance was incredible i saw a guy with ketamine in the nose 3 meters away from security.
The impression it gave me is that they only wanted people to do the drugs that are distributed by the already known drug dealers. |

I would absolutely do a dj slot with my records. Sounds really fun.
I would also offer to help setup equipment and cleanup the space afterwards. |
i would show you up and confuse you, because you would be wondering why there are 4 decks and which channel fader was which. I would make you wonder what each 8 channels of fury on my mixer does. |
