It doesn't even matter. I'm friends with a lot of djs/promoters, and I'm always the first one to call like it is, friendship or not.

People on this forum constantly express their opinions on the different djs and musicians that they see. I've expressed mine and I wasn't even mean about it. Get over it.

Oh here's something new and exciting....Doombot complaining about us on a lineup.
Hmm, not sure if the wahmbulance services Governor's Island :rolleyes:
Anybody who complains about Made Event putting a together party like this in the middle of summer in NYC doesn't know how good we have it in New York. But I guess there will always be those who moan, and those who actually do things to make this city a better place.

I was going to see Dubfire, Chris Liebing and Monika Kruse at an outdoor party tomorrow - it's been cancelled because it might rain and they dont even have an alternate venue for this :( Totally cancelled. Don't waste negative energy on things you don't like...focus on the good! PLUR :) |

More than 3 hours at an outdoor venue? I just don't see that happening unless he plays at a club. Just be fortunate that these 2 legends are playing here together and no need to whine about S&B either. They are great dj's and bring some the best names

i can kinda see where doombot is coming from...
last few times diggers been here its just been short outdoor set's
and the price right now is $45.00 so i think he wants a lil more bang for his buck
as for dissing s&b they have a really good rep from alot of ta's who seen them for being solid opener's plus they did a solid job opening up for diggers back at d36 when he was there |

Yeah, my main gripe with this gig is that Digweed won't be playing for very long at all. And as someone who has seen him many times, he just seems to put together a better performance when he has more then a few hours to play. I know S&B have a good rep for being able to bring in great djs, which I've even expressed to one of them about before and thanked them for that. As for their ability to dj; well, I simply have a different opinion then others about it. Nothing to get all bent out of shape about.
It's just funny that when anyone here goes out and spends the money that they do on a night and ends up having a bad experience with the music for example, they come back here and express that with everyone and most of the time it is ok. I do it and all of a sudden we are all up in arms about it. Just saying. :) |
