We've already stated it's 64 bit. Mac OS has full, complete 64 bit support...

The iMacs can get 16GB of RAM, and the processor can go as high as a 3.4 GHz Quad Core i7. That's what I've got and it runs like a dream. I've never had a kernel panic. It's never locked up on me...

Inside the machine you can add a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD that work in unison, one for the OS and applications and one for media.

you know what i don't own. an iphone well i bought one but coudn't stand it and gave it to my girlfirend. I don't get why they but the ing hang up button right where you put your face. I mean that is the dumbest thing i have ever seen on a phone. i have a 4 year old lg phone. Maybe 5 ? I actually fear phones. I hate them.

Uhhhhhhh. They don't put the hang up button right next to your face..... the iPhone has a proximity sensor on the top of the phone next to the speaker, whenever you bring it up to your ear it turns the display off.

That's how every decent phone with a touch screen works.

i had 5 calls end prematurely. My LG has the end call button far from my face and i have to press it real hard.

I'm actually genuinely curious how you manage to position the iPhone next to your face in a manner that makes it possible to end calls using your face lol.

That's never happened to me, and it's not an issue with anybody I know who has an iPhone. And I work at a cell phone store haha.

not sure. Now i'm curious. I don't like my face on a touch screen. My LG can be used as a weapon. Its a proper phone with a camera. NOt like a taped a camera to a phone flight of the concords style. And i like the colour red. Why they only make 2 colours pisses me off.

I just got an iPhone, the newest one I think. The thing I like about it is that it has several things I need in one package. A decent camera (which is nice because you never know when you are going to need a camera but don't always want to carry one with you), a radio (I listen to C2C AM at night) with great reception and internet if I need to look something simple up when I at Starbucks or somewhere.

But I don't foresee myself ever using it much which is good because I don't want to be one of those people looking at their phone the entire time they are in public. Granted I have large hands because I am tall but I can't see how anyone can type of it. Yes it autocorects but I simply can't write on it effectively. Also, it isn't the most logical thing to operate. You never know when to press 'done' 'return' or the stop button. As of now, I don't know if you can listen to youtube and browse another internet page at the same time. I was trying to listen to a song today and surf the net but everytime I left youtube (but didn't press pause or stop) the music stopped. The battery seems to run out daily too.

ya i have like a model rugged jaw. Iphones seem to be made for asians with small fingers and oblong heads. Also, i lose things that are small. I've lost 3 ipods this year. But they are cheap and i don't have any data on them. If i lost an iphone, and like had all my info on there , that would suck and it is only a matter of time.

I'm on HTC EVO for last two years (but on my config - works the way I want it) - quite happy so far.

Er, the proximity sensor is next to your ear..... not your mouth lmao. So as long as you're holding it against your ear it will turn the display off.

Honestly, you will get used to typing on it. And if you must, you can turn it sideways. But the "fat fingers" thing is what everyone says when they come into the store to buy one and they all come back within a few months and they're able to type on it fine. It just takes a little while. I don't even have to look at my phone anymore.

And I don't know how you don't find it logical lol. Basically the iPhone has the functions that show up in the upper left and upper right which are respectively "back" and "forward." If it says return, it means go back. If it says done, it means you're completing a task like entering text.

I have no idea what you mean by the "stop" button, but pressing the home button just sends an application into the background, and if you double tap the home button and bring up the multitasking bar any app you enter is where you left it.

You can listen to music while browsing the web perfectly fine as long as it's in the music app or just streaming audio. The iPhone does automatically pause YouTube when you exit the app, though, for the sake of saving battery life. But if you want it to start playing again you can double press the home button, swipe right to left and tap play. Just a little shortcut I learned.

And EVERY smartphone dies in a day. Most have worse battery life than the iPhone, actually. That's just a fact of life lol.
