I think you guys are worrying prematurely. I'm not saying this is going to end well, far from it; clearly it is going to take an indeterminately long amount of time before Egypt gets itself in order, but I think people are unnecessarily freaking out.
Egypt's not going to turn into a theocracy anytime soon.
If you want to be worried about something, worry about Pakistan. Their situation is more concerning than Egypt or Iran. |

You know what country scares the hell out of me? Djibouti. Do you know what's going on there? Me neither. I bet they're up to no good!

I know it's more accurate, but it just doesn't have the same ring to it :p |

Yes it will. They're trying to return Islam to the more prosperous days of the Baghdad Caliphate. Having Egypt is a major strategical standpoint. From there they can launch missiles pretty much all over europe and send troops by sea.
And when you consider the economic situation in the mediterranean countries, seeing an attack on spain or greece would be far from surprising. For the muslims, this is about taking back what once was theirs.
I say we wipe them all out before they become more of a threat. |

You know absolutely nothing about international relations or politics, do you?
Expect Egypt to most likely go the route of Turkey. |
