None of this matters anyway. Egypt will never really be recognised as a proper country in the world view... Until Bas is Prez

i pretty much agree with this comment here, and would like to add the multitudes of other religions which encompass the same ideologies.

So it's the no gay buttsex-thing that is a deal-breaker for you? The oppression of women and indoctrination of children is no problem, right?

favoring one religion over the other is as silly as debating preference in colours.

I've been around the middle East. It's a very gentle culture in the main, in terms of day to day normal folk.

Far more gentle and respectful than we have in the UK.

Sure you can always find a few extremists but they are not representative at all.

I'm a right winger btw.

Which nation slaughtered millions of defencless pesants for no reason in recent time??

Thats right the good ole USA, Vietnam.

Which is the only nation to drop outlawed white phosphour on children in the last decade?

Yep, good ole Israel. Type this into google images 'white phosphor dropped on babies'. Worst thing I've ever seen by a mile. Heroic Israeli military did it recently.

Remember the UK did not drop hi tech bombs on civilians in Ireland. As a modern civilisied nation it would never do such a thing as it's akin to a Man beating a baby. Sure in total all out war like between Germany and the UK, but thats a much more equal battle.

Heroic allied troops have caused the maiming or deaths of hundreds of thousands of Afghan children - wow those heros fly boys really know how to be touch in thier far away hi tech $20 bombers - what heros.

In the UK we consider Afghan children the true super heros with no state facilities to fall back on, unlike those amazing hero allied soldiers with thier hitech weapons and healthcare.

I wasn't slanting any religion in particular, those things could be said about nearly all the major religions, and probably in a load of smaller ones that I don't know about.

Edit: For the record, I think they're (the religions - in case anyone wonders what I am referring to, language can be so hard some times you know) all wrong, and ultimately deterioating for the progress of human kind.

i mean, sure, Lira preaches tolerance and that's all good, and dandy in the classrooms but the world isn't a ing school ground. People are damaged, retarded ing one-trick ponies who all think they're right, and if someone doesn't stop the direction we're heading then they're* gonna get us all killed.

In my ultimate vision of peace, that I saw when I shotgunned some over 9000X Salvia while tripping on Datura and Johnsons Handy Dandy Super Glue. I had also had alot of coke and zopiclone, to shave off the peaks you know, but I digress.

After I had finished up inside the princess of awesome boobage and a nice ass too, I caught a glimpse of what first looked like a solid plate of gold. I went up to further analyze this strange object, not because I'm a gold digger, but y'know. It's GOLD mafakka!

Anywhooo turns out it was a rule book. Two of the laws said something like this:

- Indoctrination of children in religious learnings is a punchable offence by up to fifteen (15) years in Production Plant Prison.

- Religious groups, or churches, are allowed to exist, but no monetary donations or financial gain of any kind is given. If anyone affiliated with the group tries to raise money for religious purposes in 'a dubious manner' the group is disallowed to preach for ten years. What constitutes a dubious manner is up to the disrection of the residing judges, so it's a strict no bull policy basically.

*That didn't reek of superiority complex by any chance? And before anyone says/In case anyone doesn't say; 'Oh is that what you call it? I call it !' HAh! Beat ya to it, Fag.

Even though they are not out in the open they are a more accepted part of society than in western countries, I would say. Probably because of their religious affiliations, islam is islam after all, they state their agenda pretty ing clear I mean. I've never been to the middle-east, but I've talked to many people who has lived there for the greater part of their lives, and you paint a picture after a while.

I found the culture really cool, gentle and graceful. We were in Morocco and they were just like Brit or American teens showing off thier cars, playing hip - hop, having dance music festivals on the beach. Sometimes I think some Brits and Yanks have no conception of any of this.

The only Muslims I don't get on with are the shop owners in the UK because they just worship money, never take a holiday, I mean ever, really quite the opposite of thier supposed religious virtue. I cant stand that sort of slavishness to money, what a pointless existense.

Moroccos full arabic name, al-Mamlakat al-Maghribiyyah, translates to "The Western Kingdom".

Morocco is not in the Middle East-. At least not in the traditional sense. It is on the north western 'corner' of Africa, seperated from the European mainland by only the Strait of Gibraltar.

Morocco is inhabited by 99% Berbers who predates muslims by umm like 800 years LOL.
They are mostly Sunni now, yes, but they are a religiously mixed people who have 'adopted' Islam - by conquest, and analyzing their history of allegiances might show a slight trend of backing whoevers promising change in the heart of Islam.

They are not exactly the 'Islamic phenotype', if you know what I mean.
I say that jokingly, but the truth is that when you compare Morocco to say Saudi Arabia or Iran they are very different cultures - one lets shivers run through my spine whereas the other not so quite.

Good post, I learned some stuff.

But I', not only talking of Morocco, we've been in Oman, Eritreya, Saudi and other places. Most ordinary folk just want what we all do - peace, the prospect of a future, education for thier kids and so on.

Hell, if you go on holiday to somewhere like Paxos in Greece, all the porn channels are in Arabic, thats the prime market and hints at the reality of Muslim life.

There are aspects of British Pakistani culture I don't rate (love of money and money alone for example) but overall Muslims are pretty cool. We must never let the simplistic stereotype pedlars in the West cloud our view.

One thing about British culture I dislike, is all the violence and loud mouthed people, for example in many 'cockney' people in and around London. Thier whole culture is about being hard and loud and it's pretty barbaric. I say this as someone who loves full contact martial arts (apart from all my injuries building up).
