I actually have the raw production art for that part (and the rest of the start of EoE).
There were some really odd scenes totally cut... One where Asuka basically flashes her crotch at Kaji and then jumps on him and he rejects her. I think its in a dream/meta sequence, the japanese notes on the page are total chicken scratch... :p
That series is so crazy haha... Argh. I really need to read the manga for it. There are some good alternate ending manga as well, including one that runs with the alternate universe shown in episode 26 where everyone is happy and alive.
Can't wait for the third remake movie, haha. |
