Spike Witney - Forever Into The Abyss

"Electronic fences
Keeping me inside
I sometimes get restless
But usually it subsides"

Chilled meanderings through an eclectic (digital) record crate. Call it chillwave, ambient, electronica or whatever - I just picked music that I've liked recently for this mix. Some of the artists I've been blown away by at gigs, a few were recommended by people with their whiskers to the pulse while others I magically stumbled upon in the wee hours after hours (and hours...) of trawling. One thing I can guarantee is multiple earworm alerts. Plug in and drift away...

Computer Magic - Electronic Fences
Mint Julep - Chasing The Wind Catching The Shadows
Brothertiger - Feel

Thanks man, spending hours and hours digging for tunes really does pay when collecting an interesting tracklist; there's such a wealth of rich sounds out there, but jesus it's hidden away. I don't even know what I'd describe these tracks as (genre-wise) most of the time, they're usually music that I hear on my meanderings which doesn't really fall into the Windmill Sessions style.

Again, thank you for listening and feedback, they'll be a new one in a couple of months. Next Windmill Sessions before that one.

Thanks for always taking the time to listen Nivo. These series of mixes are quite different from the Windmill Sessions as they span many genres but hopefully the same aesthetic comes through. I really do spend hours searching for each and every track, pretty stoked that not one hit a bum note for you!

Time Spent On Ganymede has a permanent download link.

Following The Gossamer Thread - I've now re-uploaded for you. Will work on the other few too if you'd like.

yes. What did you think of his newest album? "Phone Tag" is such a fun tune. dat intro.

This mix is really cool man, any reason there's no Washed Out in there? I'd say http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6VBbuyOw2g or any of the other songs on "Life of Leisure" would fit like a powerglove.

I've been listening to his new album on Spotify while at work recently, such sick grooves. Makes me imagine the soundtrack of the greatest 80s film that never got made...

Oh I love Washed Out, think I've used a couple of his songs in my recent mixes. Absolutely love "Soft", that was one of my faves from the year. Ok, I haven't given Life Of Leisure enough of a workout, there is some serious music on there. May drop a couple from that EP in the next mix.

Cheers for listening buddy.
