Ohhhh, I see. Lazynights is a hipster: "I was into BDSM while it was still new and underground, but with Fifty Shades it has become mainstream and totally sold out. These days I'm into Brazilian scat threesomes. You've probably never heard of that."

This guy at work brought this into the staff room today and started reading it without any hint of self-awareness. I said "Why the are you reading that?" and he said "Everyone's talking about it, so I thought I might as well."

Needless to say, this kid is an absolute ing dolt.

Although I wouldn't ever do something for this reason, it does have some merit: I can't judge this book simply because I've never read it, and I don't even know what it is supposed to be about. Don't knock it till you try it... or summat.

In case you're wondering, no, I'm not going to read it as I'm pretty sure I'm not part of the target audience.

You flatten me with such a pedestrian conclusion!

Is it about (a) linguistics, (b) philosophy, (c) the angst inflicted upon humanity by the human condition, or (d) zombies attacking the black-belt karate fighting bourgeoisie? If not, I'm pretty sure I'm not part of the target audience :p
