Remember to burn a DVD or copy the installer to another location, before the install process. |

| If Mountain Lion screws up your system, just do a clean install of Lion and import your stuff from Time Machine backup. You do have a backup, don't you? If you don't then you fail at computing. |

is it possible to run the installer "Install OS X Mountain Lion.app" from OS X Recovery or Lion Recovery Disk Assistant (from USB)?
edit: nevermind. you can "show package content" then find the InstallESD.dmg and burn it to a DVD or USB.
edit2: im on mountain lion now writing. cant really see much changed. logic opened effortless. all my apps are still here, and all my music too. easiest upgrade so far. |
