The brain is the most complex thing in our body. The drugs are not really the problem, it's our brains.
I would love to smoke weed and take LSD, but my brain wont let me anymore :( |
Dude take lsd every week for 3 months and you'll see the negative effects |

Too true. You won't go on a killing spree after smoking marihuana if you didn't already deep down wanted to. I would also like to postulate that all these would-be killers, on the verge of a killing spree, that by being exposed to marihuana smoke, gets chronic couch-locked (as one does), thus preventing said killing spree.
Marihuana saves lives, yo, and that's just as good reasoning as the opposition is making. |

You make a good argument. |

You're wrong. Acid just gets better each consecutive day, although you need to triple your daily intake every day. |

The sad truth is that the doctors would much rather prescribe drugs instead of going to the root of the problem, so it's almost impossible to get real help. |
Certain substances are rather predictable. I don't know a soul that could say smoke crack and not sleep for 2 weeks and not start displaying some form of psychosis. Not all brains are equal but when you introduce a substance that s with your synaptic transmission, the result doesn't come down to will power. Maybe in small dosages over a small period but do something long enough in high enough dosages and I think most brains will react the same. If that came across as a dare, it was intentional. |

Also, in many circumstances it's not the drug itself that makes you psychotic, it's only 2ndary, as it's usually the sleep deprivation that's gonna get you. No sleep = psychosis, drugged or not.
Stuff like seeing someone come through the door, but in reality what you're seeing is your friend when he came through the door 3 days ago. And the longer you're awake the more the memories become mixed and jumbled into one hell of horror show. |

| I had this idea of a game show where a bunch of sober people have to do a bunch of drugs and you get to watch normal people turn into addicts. And after they have become addicted, the supply is then cut off. It sounds cruel but with the right host and foley sound fx, i think it would be rather funny. Plus each episode, you could donate the sort of pittances Trump gives to those charities to make it seem like your show is actually doing good. |

na. My dad took LSD every second day for a good year and he's completely fine. This was back in California, when acid was cool and everyone was doing it.
I do agree with the negative affects of sleep deprivation combined with psychoactive substances. There is no denying that it can pretty much wreak havoc, even on the "professional" drug users. Anyone who binges for more than a few days, is probably already a bit wrong in the head, though. |

depends on the person. ANyone that is particularly neurotic or already thinking too much, hallucinogens are never fun. I remember being at rave, the everyone turned into a ninja so I left. Then i attempted to drive, things had not kicked in 100% but the second it did. I was on a bridge. Stopped the car as there was no ing way 2 cars could fit on this bridge.
I called my brother. Told him the keys were in the car and that i would be hiding in the trunk. It was a grand marquis. Big trunk. Who locks themselves in a trunk in a car on a bridge . My brother did drive me home and kicked my ass which sort of defeated any point he was trying to get across because i was still seeing . |

Well I've heard of paranoia being a pretty common side effect from frequent use (and regular users probably only do it once a month and they should be fine). Massive mood swings definitely happened with me and I've heard of that happening before too, that's not entirely bad though.
Maybe some people are immune to those effects, or maybe it has to do with how often you have bad trips.
