| flyer says opening set with Alain octavo, this implies Eric and Alain playing together, even though Eric is at id until 11. Should say opening set BY....false advertisement all up on these fliers |

| On the bright side, its not 18+, it doesn't close at 145am, there won't be any washers, and comp list ftw. Billy get up here, you're the source for drink tickets! |

Um... they've taken down all of the Prydz material and back to "Special Guest". Am I being paranoid or is there a change of plans?
EDIT: Never mind. Probably a contractual thing. ID Festival isn't sold out, yet, so I'm sure there was a miscommunication.(i.e. not allowed to promote it even on the same day of the event, unless sold out)
EDIT: He's back on the poster. #overthinking |

I wasn't even there and I can tell you....as every indication makes it look like it was ing awesome. Have not seen my FB light up about a night like it has over last night in a long, long time.
Too bad I once again had to miss Prydz in SF. It's always been my anniversary (with no babysitter) or I've been out of town for work (the case this time).
Life sucks sometimes, lol. |

Left ID about 30 mins into PRYDZ' set to arrive at Ruby Skye around 12:15.
Got in and Alain was still on the decks.
Eric came on around 12:45-1am.
Stayed till about 3am.
The whole night PRYDZ was drowning his tracks with nothing but bass. I couldn't hear any vocals or hi's/treble in any of the tracks that much. I could still make the tracks out though. He rarely spun any tracks from his new album. Maybe 2 or 3 that I could make out.
It was pretty bangin. He started off really proggy with a mellow build, but then it started to get melodic about an hour in. At around 2:30 he totally switched up the vibe and started playing some 90's Acid House style music with some more thicker dance beat!
I must say PRYDZ is the most technical DJ I have ever seen at Ruby Skye. From what I saw he had 4 CDJ's all lined up and one point had up to 3 tracks mashed into one, forming a one track feel. His transitions were pretty much on point. His mixing was really different that other DJ's. He would basically take out the lows and transition from a hi breakdown into another, and then slowly build up the bass for the most part in the next track. Was pretty awesome. Felt like it was sort of voyage with the way he was controlling the vibe. Every track felt like a new intro of a set.
By the time I left the room was still semi full, but I could tell quite a few people had left.
Good times. |

| that's what i like about Prydz. He reminds me of Sasha during his "epic" phase back in the late 90's/early 00's. |

It was a good time. Music sounds good from the gogo dressing room and hanging out on the roof top was pretty cool. Rich is alive and well, just doesn't post anymore. 414 was banging while I was up there kicking it with the sfta homies. |
