Nice! Looking forward to this tonight. I really enjoyed Ferry's B2B set with Markus at Tao Beach during EDC weekend. But then again, it was with Markus.. :)

$50 bucks to see Ferry for 2 hours? wtf was i thinking... oh well see you guys tonight!

i dont know bout you guys... but... man ferry corsten is ING BACK! none of that pacha commercial fluff . this was like ferry of the old crobar days.

nothing like that commercial house stuff... besides maybe epic tho i think woods did that during their b2b.

i hadnt heard him drop brainbox or beautiful in a minute... oh and what ligaya?!?!

i mean he was pretty good at the zoo, but at FULL ON... madness!

besides a few buzzkills seeing mother fucers gettin arrested saw at least 2 incidents... and a dude probably fell in a khole and EMT had to cart his ass off... it was quite honestly the best party i been to this summer.

wasnt too into wood's set... audien played nice and progressive... gabriel n dreseden, i dunno they are a hit or miss at times... but their second half hour was def a lot better... i really don't remember the last time i heard anyone drop as the rush comes <3

i had really so so expectations for full on too, thought it was gonna be like his set last time at pacha... boy was i wrong... and i was thinking markus/khomha tonight will be best outa all the parties... i dunno anymore... they would have to pull off a miracle to top FULL ON.

glad you had fun. i had a feeling he would bring it hard to make up for bad iblicity after that biber crap he did. Smart move out of him for sure

pretty much all Ferry tracks. no dutch house crap this time. similar to his WMC performances, especially since Betsie came to sing again.

I got there just as Audien was closing up, I think I caught the last 15-20 minutes so I can't really comment. I thought Micheal Woods was terrible, just all electro-pop cheese. His B2B set with Ferry was ok, it was really only good because of Ferry.

Ferry was on FIRE for his hour set. Definitely more like the Ferry of old. Then B2B set with G&D was great. I was actually a bit surprised. I actually left when it was just G&D because I figured they would be utter crap since their set at EZ was trash.

Betsie Larkin sang two tracks live too which was cool. Wasn't expecting that (though she did post it up on her FB).

betsie's from ny so it was easy for her to get their i assume...

and yes ferry was def on fire... i had low expectations due to his ezoo/pacha/asot sets and what not...

thoguht he was gonna go commercial electro... but im glad he went old school and reminded me while i love the guy, def lotsa memorable classics, and im glad it wasn't packed to the rafters

yep, hearing Ligaya was great. it was even better when a total of 5 people knew the track!

Judging by his ezoo set that i heard for a short time, I would've thought hes gonna go all trouse

Really?? I would totally expect the opposite. Even as a life-long Ferry fan, I have NEVER had high expectations for (American) one-hour-massive festival sets. At festivals, he has exactly one hour to impress the non-educated-newb attendance, you know, the one's who have never heard his name before they decided to throw on their neon shades and take their friends to this "really sick festival they keep hearing about."

That crowd means that he has one hour of increased commercial play to appeal to their ridiculous musical needs and make some future cash off of them. The difference in Ferry playing at EZ compared to Ferry playing a solo event, a longer set, or, even, in Canada/Europe, are completely different, as I have been witness to them ALL. DJ's have to do business: play what the audience wants to hear (which doesnt always work out for us, unfortunately). Long story short, I was not surprised in the least when I got several texts saying that "Ferry was at EZ but killed it at Roseland." It was exactly what I expected to hear........ although I guarantee he is still better in Europe than at Roseland ;) ;)
