What the ... He has two shows going these days, a weekly and a monthly. Its not the best trance (nothing will compare to the 90s) but its not horrible either. I haven't listened to his EM from last month yet, but I can say that the last few weeks of his Perfecto show and the last couple months of his Fluoro show are not that bad. Lots of bangers in there.
Maybe my tastes have gotten worse over the last few years, but its nice to see a general enthusiasm for trance that isn't Dutch (even if a lot of it is Dutch artists). |

Oakenfold has been onto good things for a while now, but please ignore his Season compilations, their arent any good.
Check out his We Are Planet Perfecto series, you are guaranteed to find some real gems in there. |

| His Essential Mix was horrible. It's like he tried to duplicate the one that Above & Beyond did last summer and he failed. His Flouro mixes started with some banging tunes and then went downhill. It's like he was back into trance but then went the way of what everyone else is playing. |

I have to say the bad stuff though is at least not a "oh god wtf is this" bad where you wanna skip it.
Its cheesy, but not bad cheesy. I can do with cheesy, its fun, like candy, it just needs to be taken in small doses. |
