Why are his title posts on TA always lacking a few letters, i.e. nsomiac instead of Insomniac or nufactuered instead of Manufactured?
ust wondering...

| It's posted correctly. They just take out the date because it's too long. |

ummmm, it's almost always missing the I of Insomniac
giving the reason for this thread, pretty dumb if you ask me |

| What I noticed is that the [LA], [OC], etc part is missing. Now even though it appears at the end in the main forum, it appears before the subject in the event subforum. |

nope, some event titles are super short and they still do the same mistake. its actually pretty impressive, how consistent it happens.
for example, check the length and compare:
somniac presents AWAKENING: W&W @ Exchange LA - FRI.AUG.31 I
somniac presents AWAKENING:Wippenberg - FRI.AUG.24 i
vs.
INCOGNITO presents MOONLIGHT Event Rooftop Pool party feat GUTI LIVE @Standard DTLA - SUN.AUG.19 [LA]
INCOGNITO presents 6 Year Anniversary Celebration feat JAMES HOLDEN (4 Hr Set) - FRI.AUG.31 [LA] |

it's really annoying, to be honest, all of the event postings here are pretty annoying.
if it's an event that members actually care about, we will post it ourselves, the ones posted by insomniac, etc, nobody really cares for. |

Yeah whoever's submitting the events probably is forgetting to enter the event area which is resulting in some weird text-string manipulation issues. The thread titles are actually entered correctly if you click the threads themselves, but since they're missing the region it looks like TA's formatting is messing these up.
A normal event thread looks like this:
SPUNDAE | Special Major Surprise Guest, Alain Octavo @ Ruby Skye - FRI.AUG.17 [SF]
and on the event forum:
FRI.AUG.17 - [SF] SPUNDAE | Special Major Surprise Guest, Alain Octavo @ Ruby Skye
Look at this one:
somniac presents AWAKENING:Wippenberg - FRI.AUG.24 i <-note the trailing "i"
vs the same thread on the event page:
FRI.AUG.24 - insomniac presents AWAKENING:Wippenberg <- see the "i" is the first character
It looks like the title on the event page is the default title, and when it gets displayed on the main page there are some simple text operations being done to move the date and location to the end which get messed up when the [CITY] is missing. |

they should not put "INSOMNAIC presents" at all, no one gives a that they are the promoter, we can click on the thread/flier or look at the name to see it.
it should only be "artist - location - city - date" in whatever order, with the last two being automatic |

Exactly what I was thinking. Besides, the Thread Starter is usually the promoter's name. So we don't need to see their name twice. |

| the reason is most likely those events ar being automatically posted by a script which is misconfigured. either that, or some delinquent intern lol |
