So this event might have gotten A LOT more interesting...

The special guest ended up being Mark Etesun.
Unfortunately... I did not stay there to see him. I have never left an event out of sheer boredom, last night was a first. Sean came on at 100 and basically played almost all electro-style sounds until I left around 245. It kinda-maybe-sorta sounded like he was turning more into trance as I was leaving, but I was too far gone in terms of my vibe to really care. Whomever was on before him I wasn't too fond of either, too housey. I did not catch Lucas PM's opening set so I can't comment.
Saw a lot people there too... placed was PACKED. Met Thomas Datt, bumped into Rory, Eco was there, a few other locals. Crowd was very odd, I didn't expect it to be so packed. A few older couples, lots of people dressed like it was Lavo, a good amount of Pacha-type dbags, then the usual glovers and whatnot.
I wish I could make the Rory James show tonight... BIG special guest going to be there tonight. Guess I have to look forward to Richard Durand and Daniel Kandi to redeem next week. |

i wassent there, but ive seen some of his tracklists and a friend of mine saw him up in toronto last month
she said it's true and even a lil dubstep...
i went by outside last night and talked with a few heads, they said the same thing but later on he started to play some trance, just wassent enuff
shame i hope he goes back to trance, he is a really talented producer |
