how would you like it if the big banks decalred bankrupcy and you had more than 100k in them?

I rather money depreciate in value than to have to have a shotgun to guard my fridge.

They did at the tax payers expense. Nobody went to jail. I think a corporate grocery store can handle the shrinkage caused by btg. Considering that shrinkage is negligible to the food they actually throw out, I think one in temporary need taking a nice filet ain't the worst thing to happen. You will have your entire life to throw your money their way. Unless you are constantly poor. Then you could frame my solution in s robin hood type rationiltion. Just make sure you get your veggies.

You're stupid as . Winter season hockey tickets are a purchase you want to make, not a purchase that you need to make. You're making a mistake by living outside your means, and you have it backwards: don't give up beer, it's the cheap, affordable option here. Give up season tickets and save as much of that $500 as possible. Talk about fiscal irresponsibility. :stongue:

I just can't imagine spending 500 dollars and breaking the bank by doing so, lol.

I think he meant playing hockey? That falls under health. I say do it and maybe you don't pay for shaving blades for the next year.

Get a better job?

If you can't support yourself the way you would like to, it's time to either cut expenditure or move to a better paying job.

I've done the latter twice in the past 5 years, doubling my salary on both occasions.

Look in the job market, see what's available... I did, it was one of the best things I had ever done.

cutting expenditure.

Easier said than done.

If you can't budget your money, there's no point in making more money.
