Even though this has racial connotation, it is in no way a remark about race.
I was wondering, has anyone ever had a black male teacher? I don't ever remember In any of my schools there ever being a black male teacher. I was wondering if this is just something i experienced in my life or if there actually is a very limited amount of black male teachers in the world? |

Here you have to send your picture with your resume to teach. The only reason they do this is because they won't hire a black guy, Indian guy, middle eastern guy regardless of their qualifications. They will take a honky with Downs syndrome before a black guy with a PhD.
I like this. It keeps the black mamba away from wrecking local teachers/co workers hairy yīnhù's before I get the chance to.
I've had quite a few black teachers. Mostly at the University level though. In high school 2 coaches. One was arrested for rape last year. |

Yes... though it was quite rare. Both male and female.
One of the most remarkable professors I've ever had was an African Indian (father from Mozambique, mother from Goa), who taught political science.
I was very embarrassed on the first day because this old pale guy behind me kept poking me and, when I turned around, he asked "is that nigga the teacher?". The professor heard his question, and before I could say anything, he answered politely "yes, I'm in charge of this class" - though not without me staring at him incredulous, wondering how the hell he was able to keep his cool.
The guy was an admirable human being. On a side note, he spoke a language with clicks as his mother tongue, though I can't remember which it was :( |

| One of my classes was taught a few times by a black PhD student (the "TA") while the professor was away at a conference. He wasn't the actual professor, but maybe this counts...? |

| One of my drumming teachers was black. He was from Trinidad, and taught me how to play the congas. He had white hair and a beard and he had moles in his face, and he kept talking all the time so it was like being narrated by Morgan Freeman. |

I've had a few at the college level. None before that except a gym teacher in high school.
My best friend is black and will be teaching after he graduates. Perfect job for him, too. |
