I wonder if he realizes that most of the people voting for him (poor/middle-class religious conservatives in the South) are on MORE government benefits than the blue-state middle class workers? |
lol exactly. I doubt many people on here would actually defend freeloaders, but this guy is a huge dick for "talkin " about a huge portion of his voter base LOL. :stongue: |

I moved to this country when Clinton was in the office. A load has changed since then. If I were to move now, I would most likely think twice about it.. |

I'd say he's pretty far off saying that those 47% are all free loaders. A large portion of that 47% are hardworking people, old people, veterans, etc. And it's pretty shocking hearing a presidential candidate who was born with a silver spoon, telling other white rich people that he does not care about these people.
Say what you want about Obama, but he truly cares about helping all Americans and bringing us together. I can't really disagree with many of his decisions over the last 4 years. And if you think another president could have got unemployment numbers back to the 4% range, I suggest you take an Econ 101 course.
I'd rather Obama than a Mormon robot who really only cares about the rich and doesn't believe in evolution. |

Talking a bit about this on Facebook, and another fellow TA posts this link. Interesting read about the misconceptions of "who pays taxes." Goes right along with this topic and clears some stuff up:

Really does not matter, whether it is Obama or Romney, we have four more years of disappointment to look forward to, because they both suck. There needs to be serious change across the board to bring this country back, not just a new president. Unfortunately, there is too much greed in the upper echelon of the government and those people are not going anywhere anytime soon.
I expect another world war is the only thing that can truly rebalance the global economy, and that’s about the worst thing that can happen, so we’re ed for the time being, so I just deal with it, whatever, get drunk, party, and forget about the bull . |

Hands down the greatest argument ever. Definitely talked me into wanting to take Econ 101. :stongue: |

Couldn't agree more, man.
Mitt apparently wants to be president to a select few of the American population, the demographic that includes his fellow millionaire buddies. He has no understanding or concern about the average American. For putting himself in this mess he has also shown himself to be an idiot. It's a scary thing to imagine such a man in the White House. |
