I remember a couple of months ago pacha had thursday trance nights for like a month and a half, pretty awesome.

| NYC has been house music dominated since dance music began. Still, we have amazing trance shows all the time. Airwave on Saturday night was one of the best trance shows I've ever been to. |

Forget Pacha, and you'll realize there's A LOT OF TRANCE going on... It's become as "outside the box" as the minimal techno scene a few years ago. Warehouse parties, intimate venues, ironically enough Pachita the next couple weeks, etc... Some really awesome talent's been rolling through here. |

You should remember that NYC hates nightlife so clubs do have to watch out for their own good.
I remember Pacha being 19+ on friday events, is that still the case

i think years ago when arc,avalon,exit were still open the nyc trance scene to me was at it's peak for being consistant in booking quality trance dj's on either a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
since then it goes thru phases. a few weeks ago nyc had joc/aly &fila
friday and sat night airwave was in town and this coming weekend daniel kandi will be at pachita
not sure whats going on for oct. i suggest you hit up guy j next friday. he may not be trance but the crowd and vibe will be something you would enjoy |
