The symbiosis between deep house and dub techno has always fascinated me and with the current weather here I felt very inspired to finally make a mix like this. I shaped this whole thing together very quick. I got the idea, collected a bunch of tracks and then just went for it and recorded the first take the next day. Musically, it's all very deep, slow burning, extended tracks that make for lazy listen on a sunny autumn day.
As you can probably guess by the title, I recorded this around sunset. When I started recording, the sky was still light blue and when I was finished it was already dark. So just like the picture, this mix consists of many shades of blue and red.
Needless to say this mix is best listened to around sunset :D

Yeah, I think when it comes to deep house and techno we both would have to try pretty hard to make a mix where the other doesn't know like 50% of the tracks :p

I haven't done a full on dub techno mix in almost two years. I think I'll give that another try soon and see if anything decent comes out of it :D

| stu, could you host this? someone ed my washing machine(laptop)....and for now im ps3 only. soundcloud hates playstations or eyetalians, you choose . woony, i know alll of these tracks, but that only means that you have decent taste. |

Does mixcloud work for you? If Stu doesn't want to host I can always upload to mediafire or something. |
