And he ended with The Doors- The End and then U2- New Years Day. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:
He played a bit more commercial stuff around midnight, but the people I were with really loved it and I think he read the crowd perfectly.

at work and will jump in with my thoughts in a bit, but anyone know this ID? he dropped this song during the peaktime part of the set, and i was keeping an ear out to see if i could hear anything that might sound like his new collaboration with armin on the new asot 600 theme, this one caught my ear for some reason. i dunno. not sure i even like it, so i hope it's not the collab haha
edit: i meant asot 600 theme, not transmission theme. derp.

haha yeah i remember asking you about this one when he was playing it. was this the one you thought was a new klauss goulart?
we left at about 7:30, my friends were completely destroyed (i started drinking again when the bar opened back up at 6:00 so i was okay, hahaha). really disappointed i didn't get to stay for the end, that's always my favorite part of his sets.
i think woody or dave alluded to it earlier in the thread but to me, a 13 hr set is too much. i think markus may have been looping the intro/outro of some of the tracks for longer mixes between tracks... although i enjoy long mixes it wasn't really working for me. then again, maybe i was just drunk :)

So you didnt hear a good song before 3 o clock when you left. Im pretty sure Fortuna, Dark Knight and Apache were all dropped around that time. If those tracks are commercial and cheesy then im completely clueless. He opened up his set with an hour or two of some nice progressive to get things warmed up. If you wanted to hear the dirty stuff you should of stuck around, cause he went into a rabbit hole for about 2 1/2 hours of some of the filthiest stuff ive ever heard him play. I mean youve seen him 40 times but dont know that hes gonna hit the rabbit hole around 7 hours into a set, maybe later in this one considering it was 12 hours. So you go see a dj knowing that and still leave at three? I mean do you listen to his global dj broadcast or his spotify, because everything he played on nye matches up with both of those. Is that non douche worthy for ya to buddy?
