| This'll be my first time at Exchange, I hear they have a great FunktionOne sound system. :D Digweed is awesome, I'll definitely be making the drive up from SD for this. |

to me Digweed, Ferrer and Tong qualify as not that commercial... agree?
i'm not trying to say they'll go 'Get Lost' type of bookings every week but that it will be better than the cheese we see at a lot of places right now. |

| Not taking a position, just asking for opinions, seems not very consistent to me though. |

agreed.
but I see Greg's point. the talent booker for Insomniac is a techno head and does try to stay current that genre. |

no. Joaquin is the marketing manager. a guy by the name of Carlos does the talent booking. He used to work for Opium Group out in Miami. He handles most of the bookings and Pasquale does the big guys ie. Tiesto, Armin, Guetta, blah blah blah. |

i agree that's a wide variation of djs/genres there. a lot of those djs seem to be there based on their package deals with also playing the festivals too.
i wasn't trying to say they will have the eclectic booking every week... just that it is going to go in that direction more than it has been so far recently. Only time will tell... and also i'm sure how many people turn out for the techno and other similar djs will come into play. |
