I really like the breakbeat stuff Timewave and Airwave put out. Any recommendations?

What labels should I look for and who are you favorite artists?

If you're talking about progressive breaks with a deep atmospheric/melodic feel then Abdomen Burst is one of my faves:

GaryDelaney
Alfoa is one of my favourites :)
SPANIARD
It sounds quite similar in many ways to Sasha's remix of Burma but I still think it's quality and just what you're looking for.

Fretwell, The Emissary, Stefan Anion, Retroid, Abdomen Burst and Shiloh are all personal favourites. Whenever I use some progressive breaks in a mix these guys tend to get a run out.
Mattsanity.
sometimes I think progressive breaks can be cheesy as hell but they are a blessing when executed right.

Surprised no one has mentioned Aeron Aether

Retroid? Like this one from him (strange preview, too fast, but found only this one):

and one of my all-time-fav tracks (Hernan's & John's brilliant tribute to my hometown):

btw. I've taken a try in prgsv breaks genre some time ago, but only a few times and I don't know if the results where good enough, maybe someone will like it a bit ;)

Oleg Zubkov, Ilya Mosolov and Phrakture deserve mentions in this thread as well.

Morphosis Records also puts some pretty good stuff too. One of my favs from last year. Went perfectly with the scenery at Tomales up in the North Bay when I was up there a few weeks ago.
