The follies of youth. My bad teeth are only really noticeable when I grin due to the shape of my mouth, so it's not the end of the world. I'd just like to not be self-conscious about them.

tried a night-time brace? take it off when you get up, nobody who matters is any the wiser.

I have a lot, bad diet when younger + my jaw being out of position & mega grinding did a lot of damage. My jaw is going to be fixed soon & now I've stopped drinking fizzy drinks I have had no fresh cavities in 18 months, just needed two old ones replacing. Also have a lot of respect for my current dentist, talks things through with me, looks at the bigger picture & eventually after my surgery will give me the best smile I can have.

0... my teeth are strong as hell

just had the 360 x-ray done and according to my dentist in terms of tooth health i have a million dollar smile

i have a few areas where my gums are a bit sensitive but with better brushing techniques and more regular flossing it should heal and rebuild soon :)

None, at 38, I'm lucky, got the teeth for my dad.
He went to the dentist while in military service and didn't go for twenty years. Our dentist only knew him for paying our bills.
When he eventually thought he should give him a look, he only had one small hole. The dentist couldn't believe him when he told him his last visit was over 20 years ago. That was many years ago. He still has the best teeth of all customers of his age (>70), but I doubt I'm gonna be that lucky.

None!

I've had braces so I did have two molars pulled. It was either have two molars pulled and wear inner braces or wear outer braces.

I have zero cavities *crosses fingers*

My grandfather died with all his real teeth still intact, so I'm hoping he passed that on to me.

All of my wisdom teeth are grown in, too, without any problems.

Whew. That would be a hefty dental bill.

Ha, cheers the bump, I was just thinking about this thread. I need to register with a dentist in Leeds, and I want to ask about this stuff when I next go for a check-up.

i have had about 17 cavities filled, one root canal, one chipped tooth and now im in the process of getting an implant done as my root canal was apparently done tily and the tooth split in half....

i didnt have a single cavity until i turned 25......

ive never had a cavity and my wisdom teeth dont have to be pulled. it feels like a waste to pay for dental on my insurance plan but i know the day i cancel it is when it will all go wrong.

Crap this thread reminded me to go to the dentist. Need to find one in Seattle (and a GP too I guess).
