| My birthday is coming up and I was thinking of trying shrooms for the first time at a backyard wrestling event my friend holds. Anywho, I have been smoking weed for just under a year now and I was wonder what you people think of shrooms and acid. I was thinking of trying one of the two if I can get my hands on any. Thanks for your thoughts |

the scariest part of that post is the "backyard wrestling" lol!
shrooms are ok, i'd stay away from the acid. just make sure you're somewhere that you feel comfortable, and with some friends...

my personal opinion on all drugs... you need to decide for yourself what your are willing to risk... bottom line every drug in my mind comes with inherent risks, even pot (mainly because it is illegal and as a result a criminal record is possible)... but my thoughts is that everyone should look into the drugs and figure out if it's a level of risk that they are willing to take...
personally I suggest that you check out Erowids... it's a huge database of psychoactives and list 1) scientific information 2) risks/dangers 3) personal experiences 4) ways to deal with bad trips etc... this site has allowed me to do large amounts of research on any of the drugs that I have taken... also the shroomery (on the forums) has some good info but it's a little more biased than Erowid's is towards pro-drugs... Erowid's also has links to other sites that will help get you info... here are some links to erowids and the shroomery...

now onto other things, my personal experiences:
first off, I have never done mush and will never do mush but that was determined by something beyond my control, I am allergic to mushrooms (actually all types of fungus)... so I'm not about to adventure down that road ;)... but I have tried tab... I had a great time on acid... I had a lot of fun, and really bonded with the people around me... but would I recommend it... No!!... the reasons... mainly because I personally don't think the high was worth the risk associated with acid... acid is dangerous (or at least I feel it is) far more dangerous than mush/pot... and personally I didn't have a good enough time to warrant that kind of risk again... basically do some research online and read the experiences... see what people had felt/experienced while on each drug and weigh your own risk/reward from each drug... bottom line: you are the one who has to live with any of the consequences just be sure that you are comfortable with them... |

http://www.erowid.org/ will answer/solve all your problems for all other "drugs" (including 'Shrooms but, it isn't as in-depth as Shroomey).

First off it isnt actually in a backyard, its just a term we used for things that arent corporate sponsered. I am not a huge wrestling fan, but my friend has been doing this a while and I told him I'd come to one of them.
I still got 20 bucks that I am itching to spend, maybe I'll just grab some more weed then. If the shrooms come up, I'll try them. Thanks for the imput everyone |

Advice: Tell your friend that shrooms are the good ....and take all the ACID to yourself....travel to places you've never been without actually taking a physical flight.....open your mind...expand your horizons....you;ll experience a feeling so de-ja-vu like...
Also....don't listen to trance while on ACID....sounds are totally warped...all you'll hear is trainwrecks and crappy sythns...
Listen to rock....or ambient...
