how so? you have to be 21 +

You pay a fee and have access to coaches where you can sit with a center view of the stage and the staff brings you a dish with ice, juices, red bull, etc...

don't be her

It's great for clubbers, I'm just saying that it's crazy for a venue to do this. Most venues make their profit off of alcohol sales so as a business decision on their part I can't say it's a very good move. As a potentially patron it's great for me of course and I'm not hating on that but I am looking at it from both perspectives.

....and way to jump the gun on the debbie downer. What I said could be taken in a number of ways. You don't know me so don't be so quick to think you know what I mean

p.s. don't be this... ;)

It's not your venue. Why are you worrying about this? How many venues have you lead ?

but i took it in the way that you actually meant it.
and in regards to the douchebag, you sound like the one fitting that profile

oh great comeback.... go back into your blissful oblivion. Part of having a discussion on a DISCUSSION board is discussing both the good and the bad aspects of things and sharing your opinions but I'm sure you will learn that one day when you grow up.

ouch... that was a deep cut....

you didn't come off as having a discussion type.

i never read your posts before on this board, but the way you expressed you opinions, came off as a hater and not someone who'd have a normal discussion... with that....

YOU GROW UP :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

p.s. i am not a promoter and not associated with this event or the venue and I approve this message
AY STAR
yo serial i think you should just calm down
she didnt really say nothing bad at all about you or the venue
to begin with.

i do agree with her that it is very strange for a venue to allow byob since most clubs sell booze on their own.
maybe they dont have an liquor licence? i dunno i just never heard of the idea. it seems cool tho i hope it works for them

you said you pay a fee and you have access to couches?
how much is the "fee"?

oh I'm sorry were you expecting me to come in and say OMG OMG OMG PVD yesss blah blah blah blah blah?.... then I guess I'm in the wrong thread.

Just because I can see potential issues with a service being offered doesn't mean I'm a hater. If you actually REALLY cared about the venue (and not just getting piss drunk on byob) and want it to stick around for a while you would be concerned too. Let me put it in a perspective that you can understand.... club no make money = club go bye bye, got it? I'm gonna go and find some more mature people to talk to that I don't have to sugar coat my replies for. Thanks for the laugh :stongue:

that's a very good assumption about having no license. I don't believe they do. We paid a $30 ticket fee plus another $15 for the access to coaches and juices, etc.. each of us (8 people) brought a bottle (wine, champagne, tequila, etc..) and it was a good time mainly cause of the music. Super 8 & Tab & Tritonal were great
I am sure that for PVD the price might be higher, but prob not too significant

how many venues did you run/operate/start up ? Let me put it in a perspective that you can understand.... you no run venue = your opinion equals to zero and you go bye bye, got it ? sugar coat ? you'd prob eat it...bwahahaha... please don't come to the event..
mmmmkay....BUH-bye
