amazingly, a few productions like this exist, though they are lost in a sea of , so lets bring them all together.

this is a cracking tune, on the green martian label. disgracefully there is a 'four to the floor' mix, this still has a 4/4 section (starts with breaks) but it just makes it all that much better when it does eventually come in. only a sample for now, the full tune is even better!
this is AWESOME, and i think lange's last good tune. a real force of energy. bassline reminds me of a ferry fix (hurt of intention) and has a killer haunting melody.

It's of course a matter of taste, but compared to my favorite track of the moment below I think it's not that full of energy, hasn't a beautiful instrument used for the melody and has a melody which isn't very catchy:

The Lange-track is pretty good.
Finding something I like is pretty hard for me in 2012 since I'm not a big fan of either psytrance or candy-prog.
Concerning bassline and melody, energy and sounds/melodic elements, this one comes close to my taste.

Those Union Jack tracks are bombs. Puts most modern trance to shame. Including the rest of the tracks in this thread.

that Giuseppe track is the epitome of new style trance, that awful sean tyas/simon patterson type bassline... just yuck. that glossy finish, the filtered snare, nothing stands out. they ALL sound the same. nasty ... does the same guy master all these tracks?!!
this track is cool, sounds somewhat bland until you get midway through, then epic sense of grandeur sets in, i noticed Sergey Tkachev ever since his epic remix of Tilt - No other day.
here is a real 2000 style trancer, bit of a chicane vibe, gorgeous break and build.
exotic and ethereal. perfect come down tune.
