Understood completely. Actually, there's nothing wrong with calling yourself doctor when you're not. Although I haven't done this myself, some my friends reckon that if you tell a patient you're a "junior doctor" the patients are a thousands times more co-operative in doing stuff like PEs. |

No, Adelaide is :D I'm not biassed...
But realistically, things have changed a lot in medical education over the past couple of years (obviously the biggest change being from under to postgraduate teaching).
As far as I'm aware, for undergraduate courses, Melbourne is the most prestigious, followed by Adelaide and then UNSW. For actual content of the course, Monash, Adelaide and Newcastle have the most modern courses.
I don't really know much about Perth (so I can't comment on it). And I don't think anybody'd want to live in Hobart or Townsville :tongue2 |

I did all the geeky subjects...
English
Chemistry
Physics
Maths Methods
Specialist Maths
LOL... I was pretty much in exactly the same boat as Renegade for Specialist. I spent most of the time in class breaking little bits off the eraser and chucking it at ppl. Hehehehehe. For the first CAT (Assignment) I handed in the first draft of some other guy's CAT. I ended up getting a C+ or something. Overall I got a TER of 81.45, so it wasn't too bad considering I did mostly all h/w and copied most of the assignments and stuff. In retrospect, I should have studied harder, but I'm happy what I'm doing now. |
