ASOT website leaked it like like they leaked the fact that it would be at Ultra a month back. Here's the LINK
Another thing. WTF PVD? I thought he no longer plays Trance? Kind of weird that he would agree to play at an event with the title trance in it. I guess he realized what most of us do at this point. ASOT no longer plays Trance, so it fits him nicely.
Hell the lineup is awful.
Dash Berlin - Dashups galore
Cosmic Gate - Oh please, they've gone commercial
ATB - Need I say more?
PVD - Just confused
A&B - Rebranded themselves to get rid of TATW
Tritonal - Trouse
Norin & Rad - Interesting booking
W&W - :conf:
Ferry - Hit or Miss, mostly miss
Armin - Same as Ferry
Worst of all! Ultra on Sunday goes from 12PM-11PM, so 11 acts which means 1 hour slot for each. Not worth it at all. I'd have to be pretty convinced by previous ASOT 600 broadcasts to even think about going. |

Well think about this year, they had Richie Hawtin play Friday evening at Ultra and then he had his party later that night at Space. It could still happen... |

Corsten played UMF/ASOT last year, and still played @ Space twice. And as stated already Hawtin is another example. So Markus could still play there, although some have said that will not happen again for unrelated reasons. My real concern is with A&B, as they need to do an Anjuna Beats party at a club or Ice Palace. Whatever you may think about them as DJs, that was always one of the best trance parties of WMC each year ... |

Doubt it since last year their party was affiliated with Ultra at Bayfront on Thursday, and they didn't have the Anjuna party. |

there are some decent newcomers in trance that are bumping some good stuff (arctic moon, bryan kearny, sneijder, etc). a lot of 138/140 stuff.
but it's all about the techno now :)
there's a trance party at dream that tuesday.. umm
sied van riel, aly & fila, GO.. i can't find the link/flyer now though. |
