There doesn't seem to be anything to do with the mouse/touchpad anywhere else :conf:
It's weird, in the device settings, I can turn on 'two-finger scrolling' and it works, but the regular scrolling is already enabled and doesn't work  |

Just tried that, but it didn't work. What's compatibility mode though?

"To change compatibility settings manually for a program, right-click the icon for the program, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab." |

That only seems to be for programs though, it doesn't include drivers. |

try this.
fully remove the synaptic thing. reboot.
install these
http://web1.toshiba.ca/support/isg/...er-10.1.7.0.zip
you can sorta get away with using vista 64 bit drivers on win7 for things like these, not recommended but it works the oses are pretty similar.
synaptic are the drivers you need / software. if the trackpad isn't working 100% the problem is finding the synaptic thing. all trackpads these days use those s |

Thought I mentioned the vista driver already at the first page...anyways, nice if it works. |

I've just done a clean install of Windows 7 on my fiancee's laptop. 64 bit home premium, and it's a Toshiba Portege M800 (pink :gsmile: )
The touchpad won't scroll. According to Windows, the drivers are up to date, and I tried reinstalling them too, but no luck. I checked the driver settings, and scrolling is definitely enabled.
What do? This is pissing me off, lol. |
you need to reinstall your fiancee's pink vagina through microsoft dot come |

| had the same problem with my HP, solved by running the synaptics software and re-enabling the scrolling.. |

Yeah, and I tried it too, to no avail :conf: I think maybe the important part was removing the driver first, before installing the Vista driver.
Oh well, worked in the end :) |

Drivers can be such a pain. I want to try W8 on my old 2006 laptop, but getting it all to work is what keeps me from trying. Still have XP next to W7 as the tv card doesn't work with W7. Never should have bought that one. |
