If you had no strings tying you down, where would you move to? (USA)

| I tried out San Francisco. Was fun, but ready for something else. Been in a pretty small town in New Mexico for about a decade. Have another chance to choose somewhere to move. I had a sister in San Francisco so I had help there, but this time I'm willing to consider anywhere. But if you had nothing tying you down and could, where would you move? Or what does anyone suggest? Don't like this place, gotta GTFO. |

Why restrict it to the USA? it would make a more interesting thread if it were global.
Stop being so self-centred :p |

Norway.
If the economy was good, I'd move back to Greece. |

| If there were no strings, then U.S. would certainly not be the place i'd consider. But I if it has to be U.S. then my first choice would be San Francisco which you ruled out followed by Chicago, Boston and Miami. Chicago and Boston are really crappy during the winter though. |

Denver is starting to sound appealing.
Not sure what the employment outlook is like there, though. |
