Yeah, you're definitely above the whole of humanity because of some people with priorities you disapprove of |

Where the are the terrorists when you need them.
I absolutely despise people who go out on Black Friday and partake in this nonsense. |

Yes, they definitely deserve to die. They're disgusting, inhuman people. How dare they. They should be blown to bits. them all. Giving in to advertisements and societal pressures, they're just ing horrible. I hope the terrorists kill them all.
You're a cunt. |

It's not that. You're clearly showing that, for all you care, these people - who have families and friends of their own - could die, and you'd be somewhat grateful for that, simply because you don't approve of their ways.
Remember that some people do cheer when terrorists target those they feel unworthy to breathe their air. They don't sound terribly different from you. |

Wow. Another person who takes things literally.
These people are stupid.
There, happy? |

Haha, I still think you're more eloquent (I just erased that post so I didn't sound too harsh on him).

Not entirely. Not until you understand what it is Lews and I are getting at.
There are figures of speech that are entirely justified. Yours aren't: You said you despised these people (is that a figure of speech as well?) right after you said we need terrorists. This doesn't sound like a figure of speech. Can you see why?
Also, is anyone being coerced!? Are they as a whole harming you (or anyone unwilling to take part in that) with their actions? |

My girlfriend and I were talking about this aspect of it the other night. It seems like such a woefully unenlightened behavior but we really can't fault them for being so willing to engage in something that we might consider highly unpleasant. They seem to want to suffer (and are they really, actually suffering?) and are so eager to do it that you really can't hold someone like that accountable for their actions. Their actions already provide their own consequence. |

"Where are the terrorists when you need them?"
Uh, yea, I'd say in America that's a figure of speech. Maybe a bit sensitive, but I could use it with most people I know and they would understand the "joke" behind it.
As for them harming me, not as of this day.
But why should I give a about people who rush a Walmart door as it opens and trample and hurt others because they want to get a discount on a TV? |

Because:- All those involved are willingly taking part in those actions, so they're not harming anyone but themselves, as Eddie pointed out;
- Because they're people, with loved ones and reasons we don't even know. No one here is in a good position to judge a low-income father, for instance, who can't otherwise afford a cheap television. If he believes a TV set can provide all the information and the entertainment his family doesn't currently have access to, but needs them for some reason, who are we to say he deserves any kind of scorn?
