So what if I'm rushing into Walmart on a Friday morning after Thanksgiving because I ran out of toilet paper and have the s?

I'm not partaking in any event, I'm simply going in so I can buy something to wipe my ass. Does that mean my safety should be put at risk?

No. But, being an American citizen, you probably do know what goes on in these spots at this time of the year, so you should probably look for toilet paper elsewhere if you really don't want innocent people to take a brown Playstation home. I find it hard to believe that, in an American city, there would be just one place selling the one thing you're in dire need of.

There is a series of events prior to this episode which indicate that, yes, your safety should be put at risk.

So I should go out of my way to avoid Walmart - which happens to sell the cheapest and most affordable TP in town - because of idiots who partake in Black Friday and don't care about the safety of others around them.

So kids in gang neighborhoods should avoid going to school because they risk the chance of being shot when leaving their house?

Something tells me that they would have the sense to avoid Walmart on Black Friday if they only need to buy toilet paper.

What about grocery shopping?

Maybe Friday mornings are my time to do the shopping.

Should I starve for a week before having the opportunity to buy groceries in peace?

Leftovers.

While I doubt that smashing you in the face with your keyboard would increase your intelligence, it is a nice thought all the same.

This was fun. And enlightening.

Thanks for helping me pass some time, guys.

Next Thanksgiving, he'll remember this remark and, frustrated by a year of inequity punctuated with severe bouts of explosive diarrhea, he'll have reached his breaking point and attempt to increase his intellectual prowess by smashing his keyboard repeatedly into his forehead.

He will then die, in a Black Friday stampede, trying to replace his keyboard.

You want me to believe that your life and your clean underwear depends on you getting to one place, as soon as possible, at one very specific time of the day once a year?

Here, let me rephrase your question so you can understand what you're saying:

So I should go out of my way to avoid a traffic jam - which blocks the way to the cheapest and most affordable toilet paper in the hamlet where I live - because of idiots who partake in Black Friday and try to fit the whole population of NYC inside a matchbox?

Well, if you do go there, you're doing the exact same thing they're doing, because you desperately want something for a good price and you're not willing to go elsewhere.

They'd all love it if they could just have the shop for themselves without the risk of dying in a stampede, I can assure you that.

Do you not see how this example doesn't even fit the topic?

Was there a Black Friday death toll, this year?
