don't know but word was Jordan/his group didn't have the $ to do any sort of renovations hence the sale. i actually first heard this a month or so ago and then again at Avalon the other night but forgot to post it... |

yeah... Jordan was NOT the brightest club owner i've come across. he put in just over $2million (from what i heard) into the upstairs area and it lasted just a couple of months. They even had trouble paying for the booze to stock venue at times. |

purely speculation on my part but i think as SBE bought the venue it will not be every friday/saturday you'll see big name djs booked by Insomniac at Vanguard... |

i agree. i think they'll host special events with PvD or something like that at Vanguard considering Paladim's status is up in the air right now. |

whoever bought the Palladium will have to pony up some serious $$$ to buy out the lease there. But that would then leave Insomniac w/o a Hollywood venue to have 4,000 person parties. My feeling is it will be two years minimium before anything happens at the Palladium as it will take a few years just to get any plans permitted for a big development like that... so no need to get the tenant out until they are ready for construction. |
