this is true. they have been working on getting a permit for after hours though. who knows, maybe it might happen on new years.
as for lineup, i doubt beyer will play before Sasha. Beyer bangs it out too much. Would be too difficult for Sasha to follow.
Yea but don't you think Beyer is better suited for nye countdown?

I think Beyer is better suited for the whole night. I used to be a HUGE Sasha fan but he's bored me the last couple of times i've seen him.

Yea I wasn't that happy with him when he played with guy gerber earlier in the year at avalon, I thought gerber was by far the highlight of the night.. left early from what I remember and I rarely EVER leave before the headliner finishes

Beyer actually played Sasha's party this summer at Ushuaia... no idea how 'hard' he brought it that evening though...

I've seen Sasha bang it out very hard. Shoot, I've even seen him drop 2Bad Mice and old school "rave."

Hopefully this pairing will result in Sasha stepping up his energy with an evil, dark twisted set and not subject us to a sleepy one.
Agreed that his sets at avalon this past year were pretty lackluster. I also heard from several people his set at Drais for EDC week was pretty boring.
Let's hope Sasha brings it. We all know Beyer will deliver.
Sadface
Beyer plays more mellow proggy stuff sometimes. I'm sure he'd do a decent job with his slot regardless.

i've seen him do that too, but that was years ago. We all know Sasha, he starts off slow and builds it up. But now he's doing something different. Good music, very chill but it just doesn't make me go "WOW!" anymore.

reading the just issued press release it sounds like it will be a SBE/Insomniac partnership with EDM djs and SBE-quality service at Vanguard. More of a joint venture that i had guessed...

Here's Adam Beyer last week LIVE at Stereosonic in Melbourne, Australia.
