Not sure if anyone here is very familiar with the ins and outs of all the different setups, but I've been in the market, and think I've got my mind set up on one, but I'm not entirely sure if there's anything better out there for less money.
The sides and rear aren't too important, but I've heard nothing but good things about MartinLogan for the fronts, and the guy in the store said that specific receiver will work well with the demand from those specific speakers.
So does anybody have any experience with a theater system like this, or either of the brands in general? Any tips would be appreciated.

I couldn't bring myself to spend that much for a home sound system, especially with the options that are out there for much cheaper.
You must be a baller, though, so I completely understand.

That was actually one of the cheaper options that I discussed with the bloke in the store. They ranged upwards of $6,000 for a complete system.

They can go a lot higher than that, too. I remember some of the that Shaw used to work on. Wow :wtf:
The receiver will be great, I actually have a similar Pioneer receiver, but it's several years old now. Never had any issues with it at all. My speakers and sub are nothing like that though, it would be total overkill for the space I have here. One day when we move to a bigger place, I'd definitely consider something like that though.

The one thing I was worried about is that the towers that come with that set. The guy said they are absolutely amazing for music, but sometimes people say they're a little lacking for movies because they lack the power that some other models have. That's actually an amazing deal for them though, because he said the towers by themselves usually run about $1,500 each.
I should've thrown some Shaw bate into this thread and said that I really wanted a Bose system because they make the best home audio that money can buy.
