lol... its been a long time since i have posted at all..... however, i stumbled across this article today at work and it reminded me of that crazy ****** so i figure i would share for those who are left who actually remember that crazy bastard.

Unfortunately this isn’t Ashley. It’s a growing movement of morons known as sovereign citizens or freemen on the land. Coincidentally we just received a letter from a disciple this morning. They’re basically a re-birth of the old anti-tax movement from the US, but thanks to the good old internet, are popping up all over the place. Can’t ing stand them, but given the nature of my job, can’t call them a ing moron either. I have gotten away with calling their opinions nonsense though :)
Unlike many conspiracy theories though this one punishes its believers at a far higher rate, so there is that at least. |

Mainly i saw the similarity in the fact that this particular individual was actually stupid enough to try and defend himself with that argument. I think it goes without saying that had that been W Ashley, it probably would have ended with some kind of confrontation in the courtroom over stolen cigarettes followed shortly after by a number of orderlys running in brandishing large syringes loaded with vallium to subdue the creature.
