She's a Portuguese-speaking, pão-de-queijo-devouring, forró-dancing Brazilian - if anything, she's been Brazilian for more time than I have, being a tad bit older. As a matter of fact, I'm afraid the ceremony will be more Italian (as a tribute to mother wopland) than Japanese. No kimono, no sushi (sorry, Stu), no tentacle porn, but there'll be loads of ravioli, tarantella, and loud guests.
I can't really promise that because... I always wear Adidas. Even bought a new pair for the occasion :D
(Except when I was a poor undergraduate, and had to wear Converses for a while because they're cheaper - if you did up the picture I posted in 2010, I'm not wearing chucks :p). |
yeah but was she born in brazil or japan?
Either way i just meant that she was probably second generation or born in japan as the last asians to enter south america i believe were the ones to cross the bering strait. (if we are talking more than at most 3-4 generations back).
