Well this Florida board has been getting slow and boring lately, so how about an end-of-the-year top "whatever" post. You can post whatever you want, doesn't have to be related to music, but it must be a list of some sort (because lists are fun).
Top Events That I Went To
1. WMC Minus Party - Space, Miami - unreal music and an unreal vibe up there at the Terrace. Was damn near a mystical experience and I wasn't even on anything (at least not at that late/early hour). Dubfire and Gaiser were the stars of the show.
2. NeonGarden Stage (Hawtin, Dice, Calderone, C.Craig) - EDC Orlando, Friday Nov 9. Best I've ever seen in Orlando
3. Carl Cox Arena, UMF, Miami - both days. Nothing beats this tent for music, vibe, lights, visuals, skyline, etc. So maybe it could be higher than NeonGarden at Orlando, but as an Orlando resident, I'm sticking with my local event.
4. Chus & Ceballos / Christian Smith at Space, October 5. Was an incredible night of music...out on the terrace, you had prototypical HOUSE music with sick percussive beats, and then in the loft, you had Christian Smith spinning some dark evil techno of all varieties.
5. Lee Burridge - Sky 60, Orlando, sometime in July (I think). Great crowd, vibe and the "bright" "positive" techno of Burridge was mesmerizing. It's kind of sad that the Sky 60 crew that put these nights on went to Senso. I love Senso, but it doesn't have a in' rooftop bar and dancefloor!
Honorable mention. Dubfire - Senso, a couple of weeks ago. Blitz's Bday party. Dubfire. Enough said!
Other things that happened in 2012 that were cool:
1. Got my degree
2. Dwight Coward got shipped off (thank God that saga is over)
3. Gators are back to elite status
4. Learned how to cook some gourmet
5. Probably not that cool but amusing nonetheless - got about 4 visits from Orlando's finest regarding my "noise." Damn neighbors can't take a party with house music blaring at 2 am? Why'd you move downtown? Lol |

| Sometimes I wonder about the peeps on this forum...how do some of you (like Orangesto) have any friends? Anyways, at least I got some replies to a thread I started. Lol. |
