| I had a great year...but I dunno, I don't really count my successes or failures by years. Plus so much "terrible" (I put that in quotes because terrible is relative) has already happened to me so much earlier in life that I can't say ty stuff ever happens to me anymore. I think when you're the kind of person who owns their happiness/choices/whatever, you don't reflect back on a year and lament about how it was. Life just becomes an ever constant state of growth and change, which always includes varying successes or failures. The only "failure" is stagnation. But might be just me. :p |

I had an awesome year. Got a big promotion at work which allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Getting things in order to start law school the year after next. Saw my brother and cousin get married.
Just a really good year all around. |

violin at 2. Was doing 4 hours by age 6, 8 hours by age 14.. So ya, put alot of work into it. Prodigy would mean a talent that can't be explained. I was reasonably gifted and worked hard. Average that out to now 31, and ya, it is alot of time spent on something that looking at the odds is not very likely. I suppose i jumped around doing different things within the field so that probably added to the learning curve and time needed. |
